Our mission is to support the design, delivery and upgrade of mobile networks with high-quality, cost-effective steelwork products and pre-rigging services driven by rollout timescales.

Our Services

Rigging

We pre-rig poles within customers specification. All feeders are fully tested to meet client specification.

Typically RL, DTF and PIM. DC and Fibre is installed and tested to meet client specification.

We have rigging teams available to support installation as necessary.

Design development and deployment options are critical to proving the ability to roll out solutions quickly and safely.

We work with our client’s design authority, health & safety leads, build partners and maintenance suppliers to achieve a safe and useful product for rollout and upgrade.

Black steel prototypes are produced to support design development where appropriate.

Working in partnership

We work in partnership with Valmont Structures. Steelcomm and Valmont formed their partnership in 2019, based at Thornaby, Teeside. The two companies have complementary skills to facilitate success:

Valmont have a 130,000 sqft steelwork manufacturing base at Thornaby, Teeside.

Through its merger with Stainton, the facility has been historically and remains to this day a highly-skilled steelwork design & fabrication resource in an area renowned for its steel production.

Steelcomm provides telecoms skills and interface to each project, including design development to meet the client’s needs, day-to-day Project Management (forecasting, client change control and delivery), Rigging expertise (in a 30,000 sqft facility) and Handover documentation.
